Hello, I have had numerous people tell me that I seem edgy at times, and that it makes them nervous. I've also noticed this with myself, but I still cannot overcome the problem. It will just happen randomly, everything will be going well in a conversation.. then I will suddenly just feel really uncomfortable for a second or two and then it stops. Is there anyway to fix this, or medications for this behavior? I feel like i'm constantly on the look out or getting ready to protect myself from verbal attacks.

oh, i suddenly felt edgy again before i posted this... ok its gone..

It sounds like anxiety, Im on Lexapro which helps alot. Keeps my mood changes levelized and I dont feel like my heart will explode ( it would come out of nowhere and then go away) Hope this helps a little.
PS Lexapro has smaller amount of side effect IMO. I would go online and take some anxiety test just to give you an idea of what to look for.

Chill out.... try meditating and listening to soothing music. have a picture of a calm peaceful place in your mind, like a beach.... breath deaply. That should help.
