It is a matter of personal opinion as to what smells good and what doesn't. As I am a junior florist, I have found that some flowers smell better than others, while some don't smell as good, while there are some that have little or no scent to them.
Perhaps you're not into floral (flower) scents but enjoy other smells, such as fruits or something else. Just don't be discouraged...I have known some customers or ones visiting where I work (well, that is, when I worked in a floral shop...I do something pretty different now because I can't find a local floral job without taking classes) that weren't into flower smells as well...we are all different!!

There are a few that have very strong smells to them - honeysuckle, jasmine, orange blossoms, Star Gazer lilies... Maybe you have only tried smelling flowers that you get from the store or a florist - they have no smell to them at all. It has actually been bred out of the flowers on purpose. Try smelling flowers in nature and in people's gardens or the park.
Or maybe your nose is broken.

Some smell good, but others, like "babys breath" (the little white flowers that come with roses) are absolutely repulsive!!

I don't like the smell of flowers and most I can't smell anyways....
That's normal. I like more grass smells or herbal smells.
Floral smells make me sick to my stomach.

You have to smell the right ones. Some just plain stink. Try tea roses, carnations, gardenias, lavendar and jasmine. Then get back to us!
