Why do people have to try and categorize everything? Why can't I just be a straight guy that likes purple, Miatas, and rainbows?

Well, as a gay male, its not the purple Miata that gives you away.
Its the rainbow sticker silly, its a sign of GAY PRIDE. Just like the rainbow flag.
However I never assume anyone is gay, I'm just usually not interested.

Drive whatever you feel like, regardless of the color or stickers. Rainbows usually represent gay pride, but most people out there are so pathetic, they don't know how to separate their own senses from the real world. I have rainbows all over the place, and I'm 100% straight female!! I just like the colors of them and how they look. I wouldn't worry about what everyone else thinks, just as long as your happy......8o)

the world is built on stereotypes....look at how many straight men that drive a purple anything let alone a miata that is inherently gay....plus the fact that rainbow stickers most generally stand for gay pride....its not ignorance its just their perception based on what they know as truth

well since the rainbow and/or rainbow colors are associated with the Gay and Lesbian alliance, it is easy to get the two mixed up. Hardly anyone, or atleast anyone I know, has a rainbow sticker on their car unless they are Pride.
I'm sorry if your situation has caused you undue trauma, but seriously. If you liked the American flag and displayed it, wouldn't people think you were American?

You have a good point. There is nothing wrong with that! Truthfully I have never determined someones sexual orientation buy their car. Whoever does that is really judgmental!
