who's the genius that came up with the idea that underwear (you know, the garments that cover the parts of your body that occasionally tend to
secrete, or excrete fluids, or semifluids that are various shades of yellow, brown and red) should be WHITE??

i understands it's healthier than colored dyes. I just can't help asking myself this question every time I do laundry

White cloth was the most common least expensive.....go back a few hundred years. Before that ladies got to use rags "periodically" and the rest were bare bottomed under their garments.

Hey! The genius of white underware is that you can bleach it!!! Thus completely getting rid of those nasty stains and killing any bacteria in those bodily fluids. Besides even colored underware is usually lined with white crotch areas and you can't bleach those without getting some pretty unattractive colors! If the bleach doesn't work completely hang your underware in the sun! That should finish the process. Of course you need to pick a secluded part of your deck/patio!

Well I kinda like having white underwear because then I can use hot water and bleach and not have to worry about colors. There was recently a study done on underwear (aired on Dateline) and it said that if you don't wash underclothes in very hot water with a bit of beach you don't kill all the bacteria that collects there.

The reason why they have white undies is because some people are allergic to dyes and it makes them break out and causes health problems, urinary infections etc.
Your doctor will tell u that white cotton undies is the best for your health!
