Mine is called an enigma. If you look at it one way, it is a black swan and if you look at it another way it is a white question mark. I got it because I think it defines who I am. A swan starts life out as an ugly needly little creature and then transforms into a beautiful majestic swan. The question mark represents thought. I love asking questions of everything. "Know Thyself." was the message over the door at Delphi and everyone should take that advise and you learn to know yourself by asking questions. And it is impossible to know if I will regret it when I am old and saggy-baggy with a really cool splotch of ink on my back but by then. what should I care anyway... No one will see it but the nurses changing my diaper anyhoo.

The cross on my lower back.
I got it when I was 19 (10 years ago). It was kind of big so I was nervous about how it would look but it came out better then I ever thought. It stands for my faith always being behind me, protecting me.
I'll always like it because it reminds me that no matter how bad things get I can be strong enough to deal with them because I have that faith at my back holding me up.

I have a female fox from the torso up in front of a full moon. I love it, it is on my back shoulder blade and I can hide it completely, or wear a tank top and just the tip of her face peeks out, it's really cute.
I got it during a period of my life when I was really into native american culture and was told by an older Cherokee man that the fox was my 'totem' animal. I believed it because foxes have always been my favorite animal, even though I never said it outloud to this person.
I will never regret it, because it is one of God's most lovely creatures. I cherish my little vixen. :o)

I like all my tattoos. I would have to say though my dragon is the best. It has the most color and it is the biggest so far. I like it because I drew the concept of it myself and then had an artist ink it. he didnt see my vision and it didnt turn out well. I took it to another artist and he saw so much in it ..changed my mind about black work and colored my world. It was by far the best tattoo expirience I have ever had.
The artist's title was right on. the man is a Wizard.

I love all my tattoos, I can't pick a favorite. I don't think I'll ever REGRET getting any of them, but I may get some covered over or removed, because I don't want my entire body to be covered with tattoos when I'm old and wrinkly.

I have two tattoos and I love them both. I have a seahorse on my ankle, because I think that seahorses are the most beautful thing in the sea and a dragon on the back of my neck. The minute I saw the dragon I loved it because it was so unusual, I had never seen one like it before and it was the first one my tattooist had done. I cant wat to get my next one, and no I don't think I will ever regret them, they are part of me.

I have 9 tattoos and I regret two of them. They are on my ankles and now I can't wear shorts or dresses to work. My favorite is the cat eyes on the back of my neck and the keyhold into space on the inside of my wrist. I'll ALWAYS like those two.

That sounds like a cool tattoo. If you ever think you'll regret having tattoos, you shouldn't get them. I love my tattoos, and I think my future grandkids will probably think their gramma's a cool ol' lady for her "ink splotches".
Seriously though, if you stay out of the sun, take care of your skin and get a tattoo done right, it shouldn't ever appear to be a splotch. :)

i have an outline of a butterfly on the back of my leg. Its kinda gothic lookin but still eligant and i think ill always like it cuz i have always loved butterflys and they have meaning to me. Also its in a place where i can cover it up or show it off when nessessary. Its not dated so it wont go out of style.

Well, I have 14 but my fav is ivy that starts at the top of my foot and "grows" up and around my leg ending in a wooden, leafy pentacle on my thigh
2 reasons for it,
1) Ivy symbolizes fidelity
2) Pentacle speaks for itself
