I'm sure most people would agree it's the leaders, politicians, and media that are hell bent on arguing, if they've not got something to complain about, they'll find a way of picking a fight, causing an argument etc, they give 99% of any country a bad name! It would be really good if people could look at how similar we all are(we are after all part of the Human race). To stop dragging up old historical arguments about how badly done to they are-there is a difference between learning from the past and re-living the past. To look forward and dream of a society where there are no boundaries, where the people are educated & understand we are all equal, and respect each others faiths/beliefs.
I hope you realise that most of us in the west(UK, etc), don't believe everything own media/government try to force upon us!
Always find time to marvel at the beautiful world around us, from the intricacies of the insect world to the beautiful sky at dawn, nature has a lot to teach us, a lot to give us, and if that doesn't work watch a good comedy film, laughter is universal.
Have a good life, and be the best at everything you try!

The people of the world do not have a problem with the Iranian people. I have some wonderful friends who are from Iran. What we do however have a problem with is your current person in charge who is spouting off about "the holocaust:" being a myth and that Israel should be removed from the map. Now, if we have somehow misinterpreted this person, then maybe we have something to build on. Every other leader including Russia has concerns in regards to this leader, so while the world would not want anything bad to happen to the Iranian people, it has to consider what your current leader is leading you to.

Unfortunately the proper gander disseminated is harming the people of Iran in a way that the us government is controlling to a large extent .

The “war on terror” has nothing to do with protecting the U.S. and world's people from “terrorists”, and everything to do with securing the American empire abroad and muzzling democracy and human rights at home. The 9-11 attacks were the pretext which sold the myth of evil Muslim terrorists imminently threatening Americans. That tale allowed the Cheney-led members of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) to implement their 1990 DPG plan for world control. The “war on terror” is modeled on Islamic stereotypes, policies, and political structures developed by the Israeli Linked and Bush Sr. in 1979. It is designed to inspire popular support for U.S. wars of world conquest. To defeat this plan, we must overcome our Islamic fear of “terrorists” and stand in solidarity with Muslims.

But as America is quite a simple country in many ways with very little history i doubt they will be less manipulated without a great deal more education going on ...both Iran and the US have leaders with agenders that dont favour there people .

If the people of Iran are great.. then let them elect a "great" president.

And by the way... who cares if a nation is a friend of "Christians". Listen... there is a separation of church and state in this country.

They need to be a friend of AMERICANS. Not "Chrisitans".

And furthermore, i dont care if the next day the statement was retracted about the destruction of israel.

If you know you are a politician, and every word you say will be published - then you need to be smart and think about what you say beforee you say it.

In other words, the comment should not have been made in the first place if that isnt what they meant.

Its nice that you have pc's over there.
Nazi germany had doctors also.
The people of the US are also differnent from the government, although the government is supposed to represent us, unfortunately, money rules here.
Please don't listen to the conspiracy people who claim that the war on terrorism is pre planned and partof nation building on our part. These conspiracy people are the same people who openly call bush and Cheny and the administration a bunch of bunglling idiots. Can a bunch of bungling idiots really create and execute a plan to take over the world?
And your so called leader should be careful about what he says, there are people out there just waitng for him to say stupid stuff, so that they have a reason to kill. seems like it doesn't take much to set you guys off.
have a nice day.

Well, I think most THINKING people would not confuse a country's government with its people ... like everywhere, I'm sure the Iranian people would love to live in peace and quiet with their neighbors ... however, it is a sad fact that your leader doesn't take the foot out of his mouth before he speaks ... he must know that inflammatory speeches will only make people mad ... any way you could shut him up for a while??

I went to college with a few Persians, and really liked them a lot. I have nothing against the people. It is the government of Iran that I don't completely agree with.

Time for you good people to throw off the religious shackles and toss your government in the trash heap. Get yourself a government that speaks for the people, not a bunch of religious Nazis. In 2008, we will be doing the same here in the U.S. when we kick the Neo-con clique out for good.
