According to Brent Wilson, he had no idea they were considering kicking him out of Panic! and that the rest of the band conspired against him so they could get a larger share of the profits.

Spencer Smith (drummer) claimed that he and Ryan Ross (guitarist) wrote the bass parts and had to simplify the bass parts so Brent could play them live.
