The leaders of the countries invaded are directly responsible for the murders. In total it is the citizens for not getting rid of the so called leaders.

It is also happening in this country. People are not holding politicians accountable for their actions by removing them from office. Forcibly if necessary.

War is Hell. The fact that the stats you pasted were all we lost is a miracle.
Try comparing them to WW2 or Vietnam. In World War II At Stalingrad the Soviets lost over a million men in one day. That was only the soldiers.
In Vietnam by the 3rd year we already had over 20,000 U.S. soldiers dead. Not wounded, dead.
I say we should all drop to our knees and thank god that the current death toll is as low as it is.

This is what War is. It's painful, horrific and a lot people die but it is necessary. Before you judge, compare these stats to those of other wars and you tell me which have the lower death tolls.

You can lay these deaths at the feet of Saddam Hussein, the United Nations, and Muslim extremists.

I would have to lay the responsibility for all those deaths on the extremist religious factions on both sides. Organized religion has been the leading cause of death for quite awhile now. From ancient sacrificial rituals to crucifixions to crusades to missionaries to suicide bombers. I blame fanatics on every side of every issue for the worst catastrophes mankind has inflicted on itself.

The question is, "Who would you like to hold accountable?". The world isn't perfect. Stop obsessing. Go to Iraq and tell everyone to stop fighting.
