my friend asked me on the phone if before you go into a tanning bed do you need to take her makeup off. or does that not matter.
she wont leave me alone and i dont know and shes afraid to ask someone. so what is your answer.

its better to take it off the heat can make the make up irritate your face but its not gonna kill her if she leaves it on its just better to take it off

The only reason to take makeup off is to make her tan more even by removing any barriers between the UV rays and her skin. Not that I'm encouraging tanning bed use, it's horrible for her.
Wearing makeup in a tanning bed will not cause it to melt into or stick into your face, that's ridiculous. Also ridiculous is the idea of eyeliner causing white lines around her eyes. The tanning salon will give her goggles to wear over her eyes to protect them while tanning, so wearing eye makeup won't have any effect at all on her tan.

You should tell her to take her make up off. Having make up on will make her tan unsufficiant and may even make her tan blotchy. With eyeliner it would also make a tan line around the line. AND THAT WOULD LOOK WEIRD! Also her makeup would probably smudge and run of her face anyways. So there is no sence in wearing it. But if she wanted she could wear it there then use make up remover cloths to take it of and then reaply some after the tanning session.

WELL YEAH YOU WOULD lol only cause i've read if you wear the makeup in one and you're in there for a while the makeup will set in to your face but that my be a rumor tell to take it off and also if you care for her dont let her do it she could die from skin cancer or get it my grampa did well he didnt die but it's good to be safe than sorry you know well best of luck i hope yyou tell the dangers of tanning beds and if she does gotell her to take her makeup off

i would say yes, cuz for example your wearing eye liner and after you take it off there are white lines aroung your eyes where it was. it would look really weird! and the makeup might like melt or smudge so theres no point in wearing it anyways while your in the tanning bed! get it?? good luck!

I used to tan and my mom worked at a tanning salon, Your supposed to take all make off, jewelry, and you can't have lotions other than tanning lotion nor can you have perfum on because it eats the icrilic away (stuff you lay on)

take the make up off...you wont get as good of a tan as if you didnt have any make up on.

take it off and put some moisturizer on. if you don't apply a moisturizer before going to a tanning session, your skin will get really dried out

yes yes yes. *sigh* there is only a sign that says to take it off. poor girl, Well If you tan your face or not you should remove it.
