How do i get my computer to work?

Question

My computer was working fine last night, this morning, when I click on search and type in amazon - the search comes up and I click on www.amazon.com and the answer comes up - cannot find server - i did the internet options thing, but it still doesnt work.
any suggestions? this isnt the first time it has happened.

It might not be a problem with your computer. It might be with your ISP. Try again in a couple hours and see if the problem clears up.

Your computer is working, your internet connection is not. What to do depends on how you connect. If dial-up you may have a bad modem (ditto for cable and dsl if there were any thunderstorms in your area last night). If dsl it could just be a power failure that lost your settings. If cable - same answer. Try resetting the modem (for dsl or cable) and see if it comes back on-line. You may have to call tech support as, without knowing what modem you have, it is nearly impossible to walk you through setting it up.

go to your Internet explore icon on the top of your computer when your online. then go to pop up blocks and make shure there is no check mark. if there is click it so it goes away. that should do it. oh yeah I'm i do recommend getting a apple. a macosx or really cool and dont get bugs that much.

The problem is with your ISP!

Don't screw around with your computer if you don't know what your doing.

Shut it off and try again later.........or call your SERVICE PROVIDER!

Buy an Apple they don't get bugs, spyware and rarley crash.
