I have 2 favorites.
The Invaders: 1961 Starring Agnes Moorehead.
In this one she is a woman who lives by herself in a remote cabin. Invaders in a flying saucer land in her attic and terrorize her. During the entire show she never says a word. It is all in the acting. You cheer for her to beat these little invaders and at the very end, you find out that they are us.
Time Enough at Last: 1959 Starring Burgess Meredith
This show hit me really hard. I love to read and never seemed to find enough time for it when I was little. So much else to do. I also wear glasses and can't read without them, therefore, I really identified with him. I was 8 when this one aired and I remember crying for him and wanting my mom to buy me an extra pair of glasses, just in case.

I'm not 60 either(my mama rents old episodes) but my favorite one was the one with William Shatner playing the man with mental issues who saw this monster outside his airplane window and nobody believed him even though there was. The monster looked so crazy and the way William Shatner said, "There's a man out there!" cracked me up! I liked them all though!

One of the Burgess Meridith episodes. He's a banker and loves to read. The H bomb drops and he's the only one left in the world. He stumbles across a library and is ready to read when his thick "coke" glasses break and he can't read his books.

I particularily liked the one of the guy that loved to read, but never had the time. Then one day...........there was a war and he was left standing outside of a library with time on his side and a world destroyed. Unfortunately, he accidentally stepped on his glasses and crushed them. Life is truly unfair at times.

The one with the stop watch that would freeze time. He could go around and do anything cause everybody was like freeze framed.
Problem was a busted watch at the wrong time could prove disappointing...for an eternity yet!
Thanks for asking...a great show.

I love the one where the earth is moving closer to the sun and everyone is heating to death and pictures are melting, but then you find out that it's a woman's dream 'cause she's feverish and actually the earth is moving away from the sun and everyone is freezing to death.

I liked the one with Burgess Meridith where all he wanted was time to read. Then the whole world except him got blown up and he was alone and went to go read and broke his glasses.
Be careful what you wish for.
