Many on-line surveys are scams. They offer you a $50 restaurant coupon or something similiar, then you have to answer endless questions and they want your email address. I did it once and I've gotten lots of spam email every since, and no coupon. They may also get detailed info about you and your household and finances, etc. Could lead to identity theft or other crime. I would only answer surveys from people or companies that I trusted, and even then there are some questions that you should never answer on the net: social security numbers, bank account numbers, etc.

One line survey will not give you much money. Work at home after your working hours or during weekend. Go for the internet business which require less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business where all the things are automated. Third, choose the business which does not require big money to start it. Think again, when you are earning money from the internet, you have the chance to get rid from an income tax.

If you do not check a company before entering into a transaction, you could lose your money, time and credibility. Some widely used resources are the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and the national fraud center ( www.fraud.org) These days, you can easily find out more about a company using the internet in a few minutes. From a company's website, you can details about its ownership, how old the company really is and feedback from the company's customers.

Not all of them are scams, but they are not always accurate because many people try to skew the results by answering muliple times. Although they try to prevent this by monitoring cookies and IP addresses, you can easily clear the cookies and Internet history of your browser and retake the poll or survey. So all-in-all, you need to take the results of online polls and surveys with a grain of salt.
