ebay, I saw one on there (back wen I didn't have one and was looking for one) that was used but had a ton of songs on it already! and it was cheap! good luck, that was just an idea!
and actually the prices have gone down a lot on all of them, check there website!

Radio Shack has Ipods for up to 40$ less than the Apple store.
