I agree with some people. The world doesn't love America. I guess it's more of a Love-Hate relationship. We do have a negative image and sometimes people like to look down on us as rude, loud and obnoxious (according to a recent European poll, we are seen as barbaric, want world domination, have an incompetent president and are creating chaos. Also, conceited because they think that all Americas think we're #1...and looking with all it's violence and hatred...can anyone really be better?

They don't. The US has become a disillusioned teenager. We believe we are right all the time, and that everyone wants to be like us.
In truth, people grativate to our country because you can easily make money here. That's pretty much it. Not to mention that, we are so greedy, that we will ALLOW any Tom, Dick, or Harry in here so that we can slave them under the table for 3.00/hr. Otherwise, people would probably head over to Europe, but they don't have borderless country free for alls, and so people can't flock there in masses like they do here.
The status of a country is determined by the individuals who make it up. Take a look at the numbers. We have one the highest, if not the highest, murder rates in the entire developed world. We have more children on drugs, legal and not so legal, and more women who have "depression" throwing their kids into rivers. We have the least amount of vacation time than most in other developed countries. We have some of the highest poverty rates, and we worry about Iraq. The spanking and hitting of children is still legal in this country, though illegal in almost the rest of the developed world. We still are so antiquated that our political policies are based on a book written by "God" 2,000 years ago, and our crime rates continue to soar above most. We have one of the largest militaries, and the most dangerous of weapons, aside from our poor defenseless Bible brother, Isreal. Give me a break, this country is headed the way of the south...Prehaps those in Somalia are jealous, but most people in other developed countries are probably just shaking their heads.
The other reason why people come to the US is because we advertise ourselves heavily on an international scale. Hell, if Hitler branded Germany as "the land of the free, home of the brave" for consecutive scores in a row, prehaps many would have been brainwashed in believing that too. Oh wait...

world love the USA?
Ha ha ha ha
Have you not travelled around the world at all?
Almost everyone hates our guts. Most of the world can't wait to stick a knife in our backs. Even Europe is slowly turning away from us. In most places in Africa and Latin America you would get your a$$ kicked just for speaking English. Not even to mention the Middle East - having a U.S. passport is like having a bull's eye painted on your forehead.
Just because we subsidize half the developing world and export our commercialist culture, doesn't mean that people appreciate it. In fact, most find it offensive.
Honestly, I have been to over 40 countries and, other than England, I can't honestly say that I have found one country where Americans are wellcome.
So sad

Oh, the older people appreciate the USA more than the younger, for many it's a goal to work and help their families once here, by work or marriage just to get here but as many other nations emerge we do not look so much appealing. I know many asians like to visit here but are afraid to live here because of the crime and violence as many watch the same tv as we do here and at the same time.

Because the USA supports many countries in this world in terms of financial support and aid. No other country gives out as much support as this country. PERIOD. That is why.

For an informative explanation of why your question is going to get a lot of negative responses, I would recommend reading "Why Do People Hate America" by Ziauddin Sardar and Merryl Wyn Davies.

The USA helps other countries whenever there are earthquakes,
or any other calamities happening and because of our freedoms.
And the USA is a beautiful country.

The latest polls show the US is NOT looked at as a beacon of hope to other countries.....by 77 percent. Thanks to our present administration and it's policies, we're becoming more hated every day.....which translates into new terrorist recruits every day....No, the world doesn't love the USA......sadly
