a company out of the uk asked me to be a liason with them and their clients- the client will send the checks to me and i'm suppossedto cash them and take out 10% them forward them the rest, Is this for real? Has anyone else dealt with anything like this?

It might be. BUT ...
Here are some things to consider. If you endorse the checks and they bounce ... YOU will become liable for them ... you could find yourself with 10% of the proceeds but legally 'holding the bag' for 100% of the checks you cash. You should also consider that with the various rules under the Patriot Act, you are likely to show up on a list someplace as a money laundering suspect, especially if you are sending the proceeds outside the US.
Recommend that you think twice about this deal. Conventional wisdom ... if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

It's a scam, your name would be used to sell non-existing goods on eBay, and checks will be forwarded your way, pretty soon you'll get calls from people asking where their goods are, since they paid so long ago.

It is a S-C-A-M!! Not only is it a scam, but you could actually owe the bank the money from the false checks you cashed. RUN AWAY FAST!

If anything sounds too good to be true, then it usually is. Unless you can find some hard core support or back up for their 'empoylment' then I would turn your back and walk away.
