No. "What will happen in 10 seconds?" That's a question. It doesn't need an answer.

Not-know must exist. I'd be afraid of all-know. If you knew everything life would suck. It might be fun for a while. I'm probably going to go off the intention of the question here. Oh well.

Do you like movies or books? Playing chess or some sports? How about a surprise from a friend? If you knew everything experience would disappear. You would already know what the experience felt like. How could you enjoy if you knew what was going to happen? Or if you had all the answers? You would pretty much become a rock not being able to experience or feel or live because you already have experienced, felt and lived everything.

Doesn't mean we shouldn't strive for answers and knowledge. But not-know must exist for an acceptable existence. And we already built that into our universe because in this universe absolutes are not obtainable. All-know is an absolute. We can get close but never reach it, thank God.

Every mind needs to ask questions and approach answers, but most answers could stand a little further questioning. And yes, most of us are afraid of unanswered questions. That's why we invent answers for questions that can't really be answered. No question about the future- for example- can really have a definite answer. There are just too many unforeseeable variables. But we all make definite decisions and plans about what we are going to do in the future, knowing full well that the future might never happen. Imagining that there might not be a future would paralyze us and make us unable to do anything. So we plan as if we know that there will be a future and sometimes it works out. Two of the most common speculative questions involve the subjects of existence and meaning and most people can't get beyond figuring out what "is" is or what "meaning" means. But we stumble through attempted answers anyway because (human) nature abhors a (knowledge) vacuum.

Not unless it's a rhetorical question and the answer is a no-brainer or the person that asked it doesn't want an answer.

No, actually I think some people are afraid of knowing the truth. People want to know, but they can't handle it.

Every question does not need an answer i.e how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop.

No some things you just have to take on faith like is there a God and some things can't be answered like what was before anything or what is after the end of the universe.

By far, most humans are afraid of that about which we do not know; and this is the basis for the creation of most religions - to answer that which we can not possibly "know".
