Happiness is a state of mind. Very temporary and very hard to satisfy. Is different for everyone and can sometimes never be reached.
Satisfaction is the conclusion of a situation that brings contentment.
Is is more difficult to be fully happy. Easier to be satisfied

It is more difficult to be happy because happiness is more of a permanent and long term state. Satisfaction to me can just be a temporary situation. You can be satisfied one minute and unhappy the next. It is like when you have a partner who is good sexually but can't get along with them once you are finished. They may have satisfied you for the moment, but over all makes you unhappy. You can satisfy a need easily, but to make a person happy, takes a lot more work. When you're just satisfied, you don't look for anything beyond being satisfied but when you seek happiness, you expect and strive for much more.

To be happy is more difficult, I think. Unless I die a premature death, I can see myself being satisfied with what I'll have accomplished, but I still might not be happy. Only time will tell...

i think to be happy is more difficult.You need to stop and consider what would be more important to you.Would you want to be satisfied and live unhappy your whole life.....or be happy and see if the satisfaction comes along after a while its more less up to you its your choice
