I saw the WC match between France and Portugal and whenever Ronaldo touches the ball the crowd kept booing,even in 3rd place match also Ronaldo received disapproval from the crowd.What is the reason.

As football fans are sick of him diving all the time and trying to deceive the referee.
They are also disraced that he rushed to complain to the referee when Rooney fouled his teammate. Ronaldo was asking for the ref to give Rooney a yellow card and as a result get hom sent off.
To top it all off he then went and winled to the Portuguese bench as if to suggest he had done it on purpose.
Basicaly though he is a cheat (as displayed yet again towards the end of the first half) and he should be sent off every time he takes a dive.
He is shocking.

Because they say he cries to much. When they lost last week to France, he blamed the refs for losing... So now everyone boos him because they think he is a cry baby. He likes to dive allot to make it look like a foul and thats a no no in soccer. So they were calling dive fouls against him left and right. Don't get me wrong, he is a very good player, but he just crys to much about penalties.... IF he played as hard as he cries, I think he would have played alot better. I do think he should have won the best young players award too, but he did not. I think due to all his crying, it made him look bad.

Bottom line:
The country and the fans have super-high expectations of him, and apparently he is not performing to their liking.
Latin, Hispanic, and all soccer fans seem to take the player's performance to heart.
when a team looses or makes considerable mistakes, the fans go crazy! destroying towns and all sort of unnecessary mess.
A few years ago, a South American player was killed at a bar back home after accidentally scoring an auto-goal against his country.

They're all English supporters who though England would go either to the final or to the third and fourth place match and bought the ticket in advance.

easy to answer this one he is a cheating swine who fell down at every challenge made on him rolling around on the floor like he had been shot and getting people sent off including his club teamate so there u have the reason people simply dont like cheaters

because he dives and trips himself and still calls for fouls that arent there. hes not playing the game and people dont like him for that. whether your from england are not you cant respect someone who plays like he does. im definitely not a ronaldo fan and im not from england.
