who is the better of the two: Stan Laurel, or Oliver Hardy?
I think Laurel is the better of the two.

Stan Laurel was a fantastic clown who wrote a lot of the material for the shows , but without Oliver Babe Hardy you would not off seen the best double act the world has ever seen

They where Both Superb characters...best of friends too.. NO-ONE will ever replace them as the world's best comedy duo.!Stan was the brains behind some of the gags... did you know stan outlived norville by quite a few years.. and dear old norville hardy was only 11 stone when he passed on.. Bless their souls..

without a doubt Stan he also wrote most of the scripts. i was quite upset when i read even after Oliver Hardy died Stan still wrote scripts for the pair.

i had a soft spot for Laurel and i think he had the most talent of the two.

Both of them, they are like a recipe for a great dish take one ingredient away and its tasteless but mix them correctly and you get perfection!

One doesnt work without the other - the ultimate great double act in that they are both hilarious in pretty equal measure thanks to the dynamic between them.
