My barrel cactus is being eaten by something. Is there an insecticide for cacti?

Small pieces are missing in various places. This cactus was planted approx. 2 weeks ago so the root system is not yet developed. Is there an insecticide for cactus?

it's birds. put a fake snake on the plant. move to new spot now and then.

Try Spectracide. It is safe for all plants and kills just about every insect there is.
