In my opinion college sports rivalries are way more intense than pro sports. You playing for pride not for money so they try harder. I'm not to fmailiar with Ohio State/ Michigan rivalry, as i am not from that part of the country (though i hear it is very big in their respective areas) But i'm gonna have to go with Duke/UNC because of the locations. The two schools are maybe 20 miles apart from each other and are almost always ranked in the top 10 at the same time and are always considered to be national championship contenders. They are 2 of the most storied programs in college basketball today. Therefore it makes for the best rivalry in US sports today.

I'd have to agree with you because the fans hate each other and basically want to kill each other so that is a pretty pig rivalry.
