I think the most compelling reason the Coalition is still in Iraq is because the Iraqi government has asked us to stay. They are our best indicator to their readiness to go it on their own.

To stop a civil war and bring a true democratic state to the mideast..
I think we need to be there, but I want a timeline..
I agree with Kerry's timeline that says be out by July of 07.
I think it will force the Iraqi's to speed up the process, if we feel they are not ready we can always go back on that timeline. Never hurts to try, well maybe politically anyways..

American taxpayers are paying Haliburton (and it's many subsidaries) payroll's. These companies in turn, syphon off as much oil as possible, from the Iraqi's oil supply, so Haliburton and all know aka's can SELL it back to the american public.
Sweet deal.
V/P gets no bid contracts for his own company... and DOESN'T serve time.
This is why the Iraqi citizens are fighting us so hard, we're stealing their country's most valuable natural resource and only a handful of other countries will step in to protect them from our U.S. occupational forces.
I'm sure if they ever really pursued and caught BinLaden, they'd have to create another "boogyman" to chase.

LOL I love it when people post questions and dictate the answers they want! you would probably be better off just talking to yourself since you aren't really interested in what others have to say anyway!

There is NONE.
Any soldiers staying there, makes them just as guilty as bush (and his administration), blair and sharon.
There is following orders and then there is relying on; your own humanity... to tell you, that something is wrong!
