It was the chicken dude, wether you believe in God or the theory of evolution the chicken would still have to come first. According to the bible God made ALL creatures so that would include the chicken. And as far as the theory of evolution, things didn't evolve into an egg

The egg was first because before chickens there were dinosaurs and the dinosaurs layed eggs and after a few billion years the chicken arrived on earth.The chicken is also realted to T-rex.
