It doesn't matter which one. As dreamy as "Oh My Goddess," as fun as "Tenchi", or as dramatic as "Mai Hime", why is real life not quite there?

And can anything be done to make it so?

i know..i want to become a happy girl as the character in anime always did.i try to cheer up everyone but sometimes i feel like i was the only one who done this...but i like it because i can help ppl..
If you want, you can act like them!but that's hard because the characters always have a good look, high attitudes and eveything about them is nearly perfect .we're just human being...there's a big difference between us.

Because if that happened, we would all have died from the uber-powerful villians that appear regularly in those kinds of series. After all, the way most anime series are resolved is from a miraculous effort from the main character that would not have been remotely possible in real life (like coming back from death solely on the power of "love").

I would have a anime life over real life because, real life sucks think of all the endless possibilities in anime than in real life.

Because cities, like Tokyo, wouldn't have time to be rebuilt before they were destroyed all over again by monsters or mechs.

I think I'd rather be a real person than a superhero/magical girl that has to die for world peace.

declaring i do not will be a lie. XD i in my opinion hate the idea of a classic existence, and that i admittedly from time to time desire sometime i will get pulled down a nicely by using an gruesome centipede demon and randomly discover our I have purple colored priestess powers and finally end up having to crew up with this one 0.5 demon with white hair and dogs ears to discover each and each and every of the shards of this one truly powerful jewel that I in simple terms befell to shatter into thousands of goods. ...Whoops, did I in simple terms make a huge connection with Inuyasha? *receives shot on account that no individual will probably comprehend the reference* yet i imagine that see you later as we do not mentally "enhance up" and grow to be some monotone and bland person that purely focuses on good judgment and actuality on my own (inspite of that is), i do not imagine our existence will ever run out of an same charm that anime can convey. :D

I totally get what you're saying. The best answer I think is that they have their 'gates' and we just haven't figured out how to open them yet. (Gates, like in Fullmetal Alchemist) I think it would be fantastic if the only bills we had to pay were hotel and bar tabs, like in Lupin the Third.

If real life were that exciting, then we wouldn't have to watch anime or read manga or books. And that would be a shame.

Why aren't guys as mysterious and sexy like in "Naruto"?

Sorry, sorry. It's the only anime I watch, and I DO ask myself that about three / four times a day. =)
