Anything by 50 cent or eminem would be one of the worst songs in the world except for the fact that none of those are songs in any real meaning of the word, they're just the worst sounds played on the radio.
As for the worst SONG I'd say it's Shakira's Hips Don't Lie. Not only is the music and singing really bad, but the lyrics promote viewing women as sex objects, which I personally find revolting.

Hotel California is not the worst song in the world! The solo from that song is one of the best solos of all time. Anyway the worst song in the world is probably either a country song or a rap song. I can't narrow it down any further than that

I think that will be a very tough question to answer for most Americans because they don't know very many songs made in other countries, just like other people in different countries might not know songs in America or songs outside of their country.

In the Year 2525 (Exordium & Terminus) by Zager & Evans, a post-apocalyptic vision of life in the future. Formed in Lincoln, NE, Zager & Evans hit number one with "In the Year 2525" less than a month after its release in summer 1969 (the single was written by Evans, allegedly in half an hour).
If you've never heard of it, consider yourself lucky. This song is not only awful, it's creepy too. Gives me the heebies just thinking about it!

Well, I've heard good artists sing bad songs, and I've heard bad artists sing good songs. LOL To me, an artist who can't sing is really bad, especially one that is very popular. I can't tell you a specific song, but I'll give you some artists names that, in my opinion, don't have talent to sing. They are....1) Mick Jagger, 2) Bob Dillon, and 3) Iggy Pop . To me, these guys are just plain lucky, because they can't sing a lick. Best of luck to you......

"Happy Birthday" is the worst song in the world because it invites everyone to sing... and some folks out there just shouldn't ever sing.

"Hotel California" by the Eagles. It was written back during the time when their lead gutarist was involved in the first offical church of Satan that opened out in CA, and that is what the song is about!

Any song by the Gorrilaz or the Killers. I'm not even kidding. I can not explain how much they suck and how much I ******* hate them. But any rap song is right up there with them.
