Just ask your grandma to buy you some pads or ask her for some money and buy yourself some pads without telling her about it. but if she won't let you use toilet paper.

Ask if you can borrow some money and go buy some at the mall (shopping center). I feel for you! had that experiance. What I did was grab like a roll of toilet paper and hope for the best. Or use a towel or someting absorbent. Maybe go over to a neighbours and ask if they have any or just raid their bathroom if you are too embarrased to ask. I say take a field trip with you grandma to the mall (shopping center) and buy the ones you can find in the public bathrooms, and buy a lot. It may go on for a while. Mine went for 20 days before I went on the pill. Your mom wont get mad at you there was nothing you could have done. Just try to keep things clean?!?

Good Luck and I'm hoping the best!

Your grandma had periods for years, and so has your mom. Don't be embarassed. Tell her and she can help you out.

Your underwear is not "ruined" soak in COLD water w/ a good laundry soap.

You should probably speak to your doctor. Even though you are young and just started--those are long periods.

Tell your grandmother. she will get you pads. She doesn't want you to ruin her sheets and mattresses. I had a horribly heavy period and I used the highest flow tampax the sme time as the pads. Wash out you dirty underwear in cold water and put it in the dryer

Oh, honey, I want to give you a big hug right now.

Wrap lots of toilet paper around your underwear. Can you tell your grandma what's going on? Will she go buy you some pads?

you should definately get checked asap. meanwhile, ask your grandma for some rags. don't use toilet paper or paper towels -- they'll get your clothes soiled again. and soak your dirty garments in cold water -- not hot!
you might be among the women who have short cycles. talk to your grandma and mother about their experiences -- did they have cycles shorter than 28 days? it may or may not be normal for you, but family history plays a big role in this situation. they are here for you -- they're women, and even if your grandma is past that age, she probably has gone through similar circumstances.
good luck. i send you a great big virtual hug from one gal to another. :)

tell ur gma to get you some tampons or something. it would be more embarassing than if she found blood everywhere. and 17 days is a little too long, go to a dr

well sweetie, use a rag if your bleeding that heavy, it will seep right through the toilet paper, and tell your mom or grandma how long youve been bleeding, thats not normal and there could be a problem, you need to get checked!
