Poverty. The US is assisting other countries and we can't even feed the homeless people here. We give immigrants free health care and working american citizens who pay taxes do not have health insurance.

Other countries will always hate the US because they think we are a bunch of rich snobs. All they see is our celebrities in the news, and they think that is an acurate representation of the American people. I think world wide we are mostly just a bunch of regular blue collar worker bees trying to make enough money to feed the kids, pay the rent, and bills, and struggle with not having enough insurance. I think that one of our MAJOR, if not our most SERIOUS problem is responsibility for our own actions. The world doesn't hate us because of the president. If you are old enough to realize that no matter who is in office they are called stupid, and incompetant. Bush just happens to be the target right now. Flavor of the year. If a group of terrorists comes in to your country, and starts blowing things up- you have to go after them or they will KEEP blowing things up. For some reason everyone hates Americans. It's not Bushs' fault. They have always hated us. Maybe because we escaped over here, started our own country, had our internal struggles, and got our crap basically together? So now any time there is a problem or disaster we are supposed to come bail whoever out because we are the "responsible" ones? If we don't help the Blue Collar people over in the Middle East get thier homes, water, electric, and businesses rebuilt so they can go after thier own terrorists then it will never end. Anywhere that you have BAD GUYS in control (Middle East, North Korea, Africa, Cuba, etc.) and the normal people just living day to day- trying to find basic things like shelter and food- they will never be able to help themselves. We shouldn't be the planets police, medical, money, and food people. We need to help them get on thier feet so they can take care of themselves. BUT I am sick of helping two faced nations that take, and don't give. Where were all the countries we have helped when 9/11 happened? And Hurricane Katrina? All I saw was Canada, and Mexico helping out....... Maybe once the Middle East is back on it's feet we should start helping our own people.

The deterioration of our American political system, and how it has corrupted our elected officials to their very core. The apathy of American citizens. The deceitfulness of an American president who lies when the truth fits best. The filthiness and vulgarity of America's youth, as if they've been desensitized to any standard of common decency and respect. The disregard for those less fortunate than ourselves who may be poor, aged, sick, disadvantaged, underprivileged, hungry, homeless, or disabled. The repugnancy of our "All for One...Me" society that infects individuals and corporations. The disgust that most Americans seem to have for civility and good manners. The hatred exhibited by so many prominent personalities who have no qualms at spreading their toxicity around the world just because they happen to be Rush Limbaugh or Howard Stern.
The 'cowboy' attitude of an administration that believes anything can be resolved with guns and ammo, or weapons of mass destruction (and that's why we should be the only country to stockpile such WMD's). -RKO-

What really ticks me off about the world today is that we're still unable to really consist with each other. There are still racial tensions in world even though the civil rights movement ended a long time ago. It ticks me off that rich countries make promises to make things better in places like Africa and never come through. It ticks me off that we can spend $90 billion on making things to kill people a year and it's so hard for the govt to give $50 million to save hundreds of thousands of peoples lives.

America land of the free, Umm, yet there are so many things that we can't do. Jail was made to protect society from those that are dangerous, yet in todays world its being used as a punishment, for non dangerous people that have made mistakes. The way those in athority use there "status" to hold things above you, just watch judge Judy if you don't understand what I mean.

What bothers me the most is the fact that we can spend all this money to help build countries and help 3rd world countries, but there are plenty of children is America that go to bed hungry every night. My own children have succomed to this when my exhusband left us. Couldn't get food stamps since I had a mortgage. I lost my job when he left due to no daycare and could not get food stamps to even feed my children, nor did the dad pay child support. This country urks me in the fact that our own children can starve, but we can give all this money to other countries. You would think that our country would take care of their own first. Food pantries to help people get through, they only give you enough food for 1 maybe 2 days you can only go there once every 30 days and only one in your city. They are not all tha they are cracked up to be.

Islamic fundamentalism.
In the 70's death attributable to their acts of terrorism could be counted in the tens. In the eighties we counted them in the hundreds and in the thousands during the 90's. The 21's century began with over 3000 on the morning of 9-11.
Enough is enough!

ignorance and poverty! people don't care about anyone anymore! we live a life full people that only care about money and their lives and they spit on the poor (not literately). they have their flash cars and their large penthouses. i hope i don't give offense to anyone on yahoo but that is the way this life is i suppose we have to get on with it, which is a shame because people cant speak their mind without being penalized and i feeling that they should be ashamed! i wish this life would change but i cant change the world!
