Actually, the chances of it striking land is less than of it striking water. Over 70% of the earth's surface is covered w/ water. So I think that it would hit water!

have you ever seen a taking pictures superstar? that is a basketball-sized meteor burning up because it passes by potential of the ambience. They by no potential attain the floor. those smaller than a basketball, like a grain of rice, get blown out to the sting of the picture voltaic device by employing the picture voltaic wind. very few tremendous meteors ever attain the floor. of those, very few hit something significant. human beings fairly in ordinary words cover a small part of the Earth.

Hopefully in the middle of the Sahara. But it depends on how big. They say the one that killed the dinosaurs was only the size of Texas and it landed in the ocean. (boiling water, tidal waves, floods etc...)

Eurasia, smack in the middle of Jerusalem. Tired of listening to news stories about morons fighting over the area. If two kids are fighting over a toy, you take it away from both.

eh... maybe I'd have the moon move into its way just before it hit. It would cause catostraphic tides, but it wouldn't hit us. It would also be a great explosion to watch wouldn't it?
