sorry I live in the UK. it should be about mid summer, but could be winter by morning and mid summer again by monday

If you are in the northern hemisphere I would say fall/winter crops: broccoli, kale, spinach, snap peas, lettuce, radishes

It depends on the season you're in; if you are coming to the middle of summer its not too late to plant french beans and string beans. Its also the right time to sow caraway, fennel, chives, spinach and winter cabbage.

stuff groing veg it takes months to grow just get on a number 52 bus and buy some easy peasy no dirty hands either
