My family immigrated from Spain and Italy. I am white. When I went to New York for the first time by myself 6 years ago I was greeted by several people at a student housing community in Brooklyn Heights and after greeting everybody I excused myself to call my family in Guatemala City and everybody heard me talking Spanish. When I came back to sit with everybody I was told I could not sit with them anymore because by hearing me speak Spanish I was then not considered being white.

Considering I'm Black (and slavery existed at the time [as if it's disappeared now])... this about does it for me:

Well on here I asked a question about what people thought about Canada when they visited and someone said "there is alot of dirty muslims there" I was and am still offended and thats about the worst thing I have heard anyone say lately. I think I am going to go report the answer as abuse right now!!

The worst one was the one that that hit home. It was early in 2003 when the supposedly christian George Bush said (about extending unemployment benefits) "If you extend the benefits they will never find another job." It effected me because at the time my benefits were running out and I had been working hard to find another job which I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND. It was like getting kicked in the knees when I was allready down. I will never forget that line.

Well once we tried renting an apartment and they kept asking us all these questions, and they sounded really interested in renting to us, until they asked how many kids we had. We said 3 and she went "well I'll have to see, but I don't think we really have anything"....sure, they won't rent to people with 3 kids but they'll rent to a bunch of college kids who throw wild parties every night. It's terrible.

i was visiting myrtle beach,south carolina n i went to a restaurant/bar.i was the only white person in there.but it was not a problen until an african american muslim came in n he did not like that at all.he told me n the other customers that i was a devils child n i need to leave...well the owner put him out.says she didnt believe in racism...he told her that i needed to stay with my own kind.i got mad and told him i can hang out with any ppl i want too.i dont look at ppls colors.i deal with ppl by the content of their character.i dont know y black muslims act that way but they always wanna sell me something though.

It's more of a reflection of stupidity on people's part when I'm ask," Are you Mexican?"
I mean if a certain kind of breed THINKS they are smarter then anyone else, why then can they not tell, the race of certain people?
They are not as smart as they think!! Blinded by their own innovations

Watch the movie Crash. I just saw it last night and it's filled with racial slurs. Absolutely provoking and controversial. Good film if you're not easily offended.
