I recently purchased a DVD of the old cartoon of Superfriends for my kids, thinking they'd get a kick out of a cartoon that was their Dad's favorite cartoon growing up. I watched it with them and it was TERRIBLE. So cheesy. The kids liked it though. Has anyone else seen a favorite childhood program as an adult and thought the same way? What was it?

I know what you're talking about. But that was all we had when we were growing up. I used to like to watch "Devlin", but I seen an episode and it's also really cheesy. I've also noticed back then that all the cartoons had some type of animal that was personified......like....Wacky Racers, Scooby Doo, Hong Kong Phooey, Grape Ape.......and that in itself is cheesy.
