Because they aren't open all at on time. They are open for 24 hours, 365 days, but not all at one time. They are open 24 hours over the course of the 365 days, see?

because it's not really open 24/7 - 365, sometime they have to count the money and who knows what would happen to an employee that can't get an immediate replacement, ergo: Locks.

Others have already said. It is so you can secure the premise after a robbery, lock up incase of power or utility interuption, emergency.

I never thought of that! I guess they have in case they need to havea lockdown...people can get crazy cravings fro slurpees all at the same time that would be an ugly mob situation lol
