I was wondering if a hispanic female like me can become successful, wealthy, and be a major celebrity without promoting yourself sexually and acting dumb? Or does a gir like me have to in order to reach fame?

As somebody who has toiled in obscurity all his days, I don't know much about becoming famous. As a white male, I know little in particular about the obstacles facing a young hispanic woman. To answer your question, I would say that anything is possible, but you have to understand that there are still obstacles for both women and hispanics to overcome. Be ready for that, and be optimistic in the face of setbacks.

Now that I've answered your question (to the best of my limited abilities), let me ask you one: Why would you want to become famous? Or even rich? Becoming successful is easy by comparison. Just understand that, when you're living a life where you're happy with what you're doing, making a difference in peoples' lives, and surrounded by people who love you, you're living a life of great success. The car you drive, the money you have in the bank, and the number of strangers who recognize your name are nothing in comparison to that. Worse, pursuit of those things can end up sapping your time and energy from the things that bring true success.

Also, remember that in a world with six billion people all fighting for attention, meaningful fame is more and more difficult to achieve. Instead of pursuing that rat race, look inside yourself and look outside at the world we have today and the world you want it to become. Find what matters, and pursue it like a drowning man pursues air.

Or try out for American Idol. The easiest way to get on television is to be atrociously, freakishly bad when you try out.

It depends on what you plan to gain notoriety for. If you're looking to go into the music business or into acting, a lot of people have to stoop to lower levels to get where they want, no matter nationality or gender. But if you plan to be a successful business woman or author - then all you have to do is be strong and be willing to not take crap from anyone - you need to know you can do it and just do it. I'm tired of women saying "Ohhh but the glass cieling! It's impossible for women to be as successful as men - haven't you seen the statistics?" I don't care about statistics - as long as women complain that we can't do it - then we won't be able to do it. Just get out there....and do it!

You can be successfull in other ways too hermana, u don't have to be a celebrity. There are tons of Hispanic women in business why not go that route. It'll be just as hard studying and working as it will be to break into Hollywood or whatever.

Why would you want those things? They all sound like problems to me. Why not ask what can you do to be truly happy with who you are? There are but of a hand full of female Hollywood celebs that do not promote there sexuality. They are beautiful women, that's what sells tickets.

Totally. Don't fall for those stupid people out there who insist that you couldn't make it. Find an agent who promotes values, not sex just because it sells. Those kind make lousy bosses. Find those peeps out there who are not biased and then make them believe in you. Prove yourself, work hard, seek God in your decisions, and you'll make it! Remember, success is happiness and peace, and if you can find it in the here and now, you're more likely to find it later. Go get em. (*Cheers for you*)

If you stop seeing yourself as a Hispanic woman and start looking at yourself as a part of society, then, yes.

No, women can only succeed in today's world if they are eye candy.

Next time when you go for an interview or modeling shoot make sure to wear a yellow dot bikini.

Yes of course you can.

However, not many people are WEALTHY. Well off maybe. Try not to measure your success by your paycheck.

"Success is based on equal parts of desire and need, people just make excuses for themselves when they fail."
