Has anyone, either yourself or someone you know ever had a mystic tan? Does it actually look real or do you turn orange from it? Also, do they adjust the colour based on you skin tone or is it the same no matter what? I am fairly light skinned and am worried it would be too dark for me. Also, I heard you have to colver knees and ankles and stuff so they dont turn orange. If so, arent your knees and stuff a different colour then the rest of your skin? Thanks!

I knew someone who went to Hawaii and got one, and she went swimming. It washed OFF!!!! I would be careful on which type you get. Plus, sometimes, the tans look more orange than natural.

I haven't had it done because their isn't one near me but the mystic tan website has a lot of good information. It's suppose to look natural even on the most fair skin. You want to do a good body scrub the day before. At the salon you put this barrier cream on your hands and feet so they don't get dark.

get a natural tan in California! This is where to go, Stinson Beach, California. I go there all the time and my legs used to be sooooo white. It looked really gross, especially because my thighs are not my thinest part of my body. But now I'm really tan. It looks natural too. Hope this helps! :-)

Do not waste your money! Just get some self tanning cream, that works better. My girlfriend got one and she was smiling it turned her teeth orange. It was funny though, good for a laugh!
You would be better off rubbing down in peanut butter!
