I've been on either the pills or depo provera on and off for the past three years. I don't like the pills because I get worried about having to remember to take them everyday and I really hate still having my period. That's why I went to depo which is always fine for me until I've been on it for about 8 months. Then I start cramping and bleeding. The first time I was on depo, I bled everyday for 5 weeks and when I went to the doctor, she told me it was normal. That's not normal to bleed everyday for five weeks!! Anyway, I've been on the shot for 8 months again and the cramping and bleeding have started again. What's a different kind of birth control that will stop your periods? Besides depo of course.

There's something called The Ring. It does have hormones in it, though. My daughter uses it and likes it better than anything else, especially the Depo. Do a search on it.

I think Loestra and Ortho Evra both might work. Loestra might be a pill but the periods are average 3 days.

seasonale, though i think its unnatural to stop your periods, and youll have to remember to take a pill everyday. if you dont mind having a regular period, and dont want to remember a pill, try the vaginal ring, a friend tried it, and loved it.
