With over 100,000 songs in my music collection I can honestly say I don't have a single favorite song. I now think in terms of a 1 - 10 scale. Very few songs rate a "10" in my book, but still that includes many hundreds of songs. For me a song gets a "10" if I can play it over and over and over again for a couple hours and it sounds better and better with each pass. Here's a few I rate a 10:
Soul Meets Body - Death Cab for Cutie (2006)
Pretty Little Girl - The King Krooners (1956)
Just Like Heaven - The Cure (1987)
Baby it's You - The Shirelles (1961)
Video Killed the Radio Star - Buggles (1979)
Here Comes Your Man - Pixies [Album Version] (1989)
Here Comes Your Man - Pixies [Original Demo] (1987)
Your Woman - White Town (1997)
Renegades of Funk - Rage against the Machine (2000)
Rocking Chair Boogie - Ivory Joe Hunter (1952)
Heart full of Soul - The Yardbirds (1965)
De Música Ligeira - Os Paralamas do Sucesso (1996)
Hey Baby - The Banlons (1959)
Rayando el Sol - Maná (1990)
Words of Love - Buddy Holly (1957)
Bend Me Shape Me - The American Breed (1966)
Enjoy!

My favorite song are "The Ghost of You" by My Chemical Romance, "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage" by Panic! at the Disco, and "Sophmore Slump or Comeback of the year" by Fall Out Boy. Oh, and I love Plain White T's and Rascal Flatts. An odd combination I know!

My favorite song is "A Ribbon In The Sky" by Stevue Wonder. I love this song, I sang it at my sisters wedding, it always makes me cry. It proves that no matter what happens in life you can always find true love.....

Carley Simon and James Taylor did a song together over 28 years ago called "Devoted to You." We had it at our wedding. I liked the simplicity of it.
