Most of the time, I abstain from internet. I had a six month stint away from the computer and it was one of the most genuine times in my life. Then I started networking with friends from high school and realized that my life had headed in a sour direction. So, it's a support network. And since I'm changing jobs, it's a resource for that kind of networking. Technology has its uses. I think reality TV is the saddest thing. I mean, people sit around and watch other people live more genuinely. What is that about?

I consider being hooked up to a modern computer online with several thousand intelligent, interesting people enjoying a dialog about the internet and the world right now as we sit at the beginning of the modern electronic era IS having a life...!!
Perhaps you fail to see the charm...lol

It's raining and I got home early. I have a great life. I can't take the boat out in the rain and my house is clean my husband is napping so I need to be quiet.

because my stupid SO wants to watch the WorldCup. He's not stupid in the intelligence sense, but he is just really annoying me right now. Hogging the tv, and I want to go out and enjoy the beautiful day. In fact, I think I'll just do that by myself.

I can't really do much when my 2 kids are taking naps. The house is already spotless so I felt like coming on here and helping some people out.
