We don't. Religion is politics. Our Government was founded on
Christianity. Without religon there would be no constitution of
the United States. No government. No United States. No politics!

We may be able to separate religion and politics once we can put to rest the fact that god's laws are higher than that of man; that the laws our government makes should be based on what is good for EVERYONE, not just who will fill the ballot boxes.
By not choosing a liar politican that blasphemes (making his belief in god a vanity!!!!) to be the next president of the united states. Let me quote Brian Warner, pleeease! "Capitalism has made it this way/Old fashioned Fascism will take it away!"
hey you? what do you see? Anything beautiful about any of this whole mess? To get religion out of politics, that's an oxymoron. On our money, it says, "In God We Trust." So then, as I see this whole fiasco, the President must be God. Let me quote someone a little more credible..."When the government fears the people, you have liberty. When the people fear the government, you have tyranny." Thomas Jefferson.

I have noticed the movement of Government getting into the religion business.
It used to be the opposite. Congressmen kept their distance. But Karl Rove pointed out whoever controls the church wins the election. So the merger of State and Church.
Is it a good thing. No, but none the less it is in place and will most likely take a few decades to change.

Move to an abandoned island--by the way every President has been a Christian so Democrats should not complain about conservatives being Christians. Dont point because you have 4 fingers pointed right back at yourself :)yeah i know thats childish

Vote for moderates, liberals or "true republicans."
Stop voting for the religious right and born again Christians. Also, stop listening to what they say and conduct research for yourself.
