Why is it that when Clinton commited our troops to stop human rights violations and genocide in Kosovo the Democrats thought that he was a powerful leader? Those troops are still there, by the way (going on 10 years). We have been in Iraq for less than 4 and the Dems are calling for an immediate pull-out. Saddam Hussein was doing the same stuff as Slobodan Milosevic and violated more U.N. resolutions. Yeah, GW stated that we were going in for WMDs and that intel proved to be bad (though we found enough Sarin to give half the east coast a really bad day). The end result is basically the same, we went in to remove a dangerous, murderous, tyrant and to put an end to human rights violations. It's called a double standard. The Pubs do it just the same as the Dems. It's all a big game in the world of politics. Americans are foolish sheep to sit here and think we don't have the power to do anything about it.

Halliburton equals Dick Cheney. Dick Cheney equals Donald Rumsfeld. These 2 together equal Bush Sr., and Halliburton signs contracts that last a long *** time. Bush doesn't have to hire them. Cheney can, or anyone else for that matter. Why is it, that everytime someone seeks to take up for Bush Jr, they speak up about Pres. Clinton, who did very good things for our country until the GOP started smearing him about the sex scandal? (he lost his credibility and respect, and then he thusly gave the proverbial finger to all those out there who didn't want him screwing up the plans Bush Sr. had for his son.) How many spouses cheat on their spouses every day? Why is it that Halliburton is still hired for every job? Do you even care?

Halliburton has been a staple for the American Goverment for 20-30 years, but for minor jobs, and always a bid has been put in....Now the Goverment uses Halliburton for everything , and no bids are needed, or are ignored....Liberal Bull? Nope, just the facts, and you can find the truth if you dig into the net a bit...I Did.

Maybe because when Clinton was president, Halliburton wasn't hired directly, but was forced to enter a competitive bid, or maybe it's because his VP wasn't the former Chairman of Halliburton, or perhaps it's because there wasn't as much work for them becasue we were't bombing things simply to have Halliburton rebuild them.

You don't provide enough examples, which leads me to belive you overheard this or it was spoon fed to you.
Clinton did not have an economic intrest in the company as opposed to the current adminstration.
that is one.
and secondly what your reffering to is no bid contracts...
that we could go one by one....but of course you use the good ol fashioned blanket statement...
every, always, never, all,
The cargile group, big oil, halliburton......overcharging our government in time of war is treason.
