does the smell disapate like it does on earth with lots of air to "dilute" the smell.... or are you just stuck in the suit smellin it?

I'm sure the carbon filter and carbon dioxide scrubber would clear a lot of the smell up... What's the big deal - you don't enjoy the smell of your own farts or something???

The air in the suit is separate from the air in the helmet. The air is circulated and filtered often.

Modern space suits are fully equipped with a methane air lock which gathers the fart and blasts it into outer space or your co-pilots face if you think you're funny.

The filters that take out the carbon dioxide well take care of the fart smell.

the bottom of the suit is more or less sealed from the top so they dont smell it. During space walks they crap and pee in a diaper.
