Norton Antivirus 2005 is a great program, but you need to keep your Live Update up-to-date. I also have Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware, which are great programs which are free downloads. LavaSoft.com is where you can download Ad-Aware. Google "Spybot Search and Destroy". These downloads, as well as Norton Antivirus are the best thing you can ever do for your computer!!! And exept tor Norton, they are free downloads. Always keep your Norton Anti Virus program updated and current.

I used to love Norton AntiVirus until it became bloated and started to not be able to quarentine Trojans picked up on the web. AVG Free has been doing a better job in both departments. As for Spyware look at WebRoot Spy Sweeper. or if you need somthing free AdAware or Spybot for removal.

Symantec Antivirus 2005 sucks, they FORCE you to pay money to continue using the program, getting it permanently removed from your system isn't an option, it simply cannot be done without paying a computer genius.

I use AVG free editon. http://www.grisoft.com
and it does everything Symantec Antivirus does and more, and it costs you absolutely nothing.

Zone Alarm Pro Security Suite is tops with me. Not only does it let you know whenever someone (or some software) is trying to use your PC, but it's also got antispyware included I've used it for a very long time and I love it!

Here's the free trial url and a chart that tells you what's included, definately choose the security suite to get all phases of protection.

lol... if you want Finest protection use any of these antiviruses...
> Trend Micro
> Norton 2006 (slows down pc 60%)
> avast
>Avg
> Mccafee
one of these anti-virus + Zone alarm firewall + ewido antispyware.... and You'll have 5% chance of gettng infected.... because there are Latest Threats which are detected.. by Av if not... Firewall if not Ewido will surely detect attack and clear it!
--------------------------- But threat still remains.... some Latest trojans are undeteced... hence You can't be 100% safe in internet.
