Yes I would like a toasted teacake and I am goin to take a wild guess that the quote is from one of the Douglas Adams books (the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy series).

I don't know what the definition of the word toatsed is. And I can't find anyone that knows what a teacake is. Is that something those limey's in Britain eat. I would guess it's a type of cake that you eat with tea. But I'm in the U.S. and we don't "do" that whole tea thing over here. I recently saw in a movie where a British diplomat said that drinking tea alone (without cream or sugar) is uncivilized. A true tea lover drinks it straight. Adding anything to tea is awe full and takes away from the great taste of tea.

Beautiful episode:

Holly: I apologise, toaster. What's the question?

Talkie Toaster: The question is this: Given that God is infinite, and that the universe is also infinite, would you like a toasted tea-cake?

Holly: That's another bready question.

Talkie Toaster: It's not just bready, it's quite curranty too.

Holly: Ask me a question that is wholly unbready and not even slightly curranty.

Despite the fact that neither of your premises is confirmable, yes, I would like a toasted tea cake, and perhaps a spot of tea.
