Lets see.. where do I begin...
You don't measure a man's intelligence by what he knows...You measure it by what he does NOT know, and how he reacts to situations he is not familiar with...
The man has had the benefit of having almost all of the government institutions led by people loyal to his political party, yet he has taken the country down this dark hole. He will eventually be measured by squandering all the good fortune that he inherited.
I compare him not with Andrew Jackson or Lincoln who had a true hardscrabble rural upbringing who had disdain for the political elite in Washington.
I compare him with Warren Harding, a well meaning man hoisted up to the presidency by rich and powerful friends, a likeable guy that knew from the start that he was not up to the task of being President.
Presidents need to be men of substance, not self effacing bufoons that make bad decision after bad decision, and keeps getting every benefit of the doubt from an intimdated press, and an even more worthless and corrupt Congress.
Bush has never been held accountable for anything that he has ever done in his life, so he probably never learned from his shortcomings.
He will be remembered as the wrong guy, at the wrong time. Just like his father, he flew so high and had the hopes of his nation on his shoulders, only to betray America's trust. Hopefully the next president will make up for his grand failings.
I have too great a respect for the Presidency, to see it ruined by such an intellectually incurious individual.

The Bush Bashers are the real babies. They feel cheated by his first victory even though the electoral college has always been part and parcel of our democratic process (How do you think Lincoln got into office when the country needed him most?), they feel humiliated by his second victory, and thus are determined to deny him a third victory in the war on terror regardless of how that might effect not only their own security but that of the whole world.
I believe, that on a subconscious level they realize that President Bush is only the beginning of a conservative revolution that will undo most of the culture and policies that liberals have advanced over the last fifty years (forty of which they spent in power). And so, like children about to be sent to their rooms, they cry like babies at the mere mention of the man.
I can't wait for '08!

Wow, are you serious? Is THIS the dumbest question ever? YES! Come on, if you post a question like this, then you're going to get a lot of nonsense from Bush voters. (For the record, though, yes, he is!) Two more years. THANK GOD! I voted for Kerry, so don't blame me! Oh, if you're ranting against Bush, but didn't vote when you could have, then get off here RIGHT NOW! Only people who actually voted have the right to kvetch, because we voted! To you apathetic non-voters, GET OUT AND VOTE! Your vote CAN make a difference! Just look at the last two elections, and you will see that I'm right! And Bush's grades were worse than Kerry's. My brother, who went to Yale, said that almost everyone at Yale booed Bush when he came to speak to them! His grades were notoriously bad!

As I've no idea what his IQ is, I cannot say for sure. However, he certainly ACTS like the dumbest president ever. He hasn't got the skills or know-how necessary to fulfill his office and surrounds himself only with "yes men." This is a man who, before the elections, didn't even know who the president of Iraq WAS! His public speaking style is terrible, he is a bona-fide liar, and his manipulations to suit his personal vendettas are legion.
Who else would come out and tell Cheney to smear Joe Wilson's name and "out" Valerie Plame? Who else would ensure that the studies on global warming were hushed and the results reported erroneously? Who else would lead the country into war, leading to the senseless deaths of thousands of our men and women, to satisfy his taste for venegeance?
Stupid? Maybe, maybe not. Blindly, stupidly chasing his own agenda while ignoring public opinion and better advice? Hells yes!

Define "dumbest".
By what standards?
He may not have made good choices during his time in office, but it's a matter of public record that his G.P.A. was slightly better than John Kerry's so get over that...

At least he didn't stop to look at opinion polls before he did something. John Kerry would still be trying to decide what to do about 9/11 if he'd been in office. Bush just needs better advisors.

Possibly.
Andrew Jackson's duel with Charles Dickinson was incredibly idiotic, however. True, it was somewhat customary for the time and it occured before his time in office. But he basically killed a man in cold blood, having been shot first but not killed. Rather than firing in the air to signal a new round, he took aim and fired at 24 feet, slaying Dickenson.
Jackson was heavy-handed as a Major General and was responsible, directly and indirectly, for the deaths of many evicted native American Indians. His invasion of Spanish Florida is infamous.
However, his policies helped the nation see itself as a whole, not merely a smattering of states... and he was widely regarded as a war hero, if a violent one. He certainly had his supporters... as does Geroge W. And like George W., Jackson was not known for his book smarts. His grammar and spelling were assailed as poor at best.
Was he as dumb as Bush? Well, Bush's stupidity can be measured in various ways. Some say it's all a ploy... that his accent has become more rural in recent years quite purposefully in order that he come across better to the average mid-Western voter. He didn't have a great GPA in college... but he was attending Yale, and even if his name got him in, even passing grades there are arguably considerably more difficult to attain than higher grades in state schools.
But stupidity can be measured on many levels... how smart was it to invade a sovereign nation that had never invaded or attacked us, that did not have direct ties to terrorism at the time of the invasion, that did not prove to have any supposed WMDs, and that was bound to break into unparralleled civil and religious strife over the dissolution of the ruling Sunni Baath party?
As a nation, and a nation headed by George W., we made fools of ourselves internationally, arguably commited some terrible crimes against humanity, and flaunted our power even in direct opposition to the wishes of other powers in the United Nations.
Was Bush the dumbest ever? You could certainly make a good case for it, sure.

I don't know if he is the "dumbest", but definately selfish and absolutely no common sense. If it weren't for daddy, don't think he would be where he is today.
Heck, I supported him both elections, but now, his final term antics have shown a lot of people he wasn't all he said he was.
He has turned some of his own supporters against him. As a vet, any president who is cutting Vet benefits and eduation programs is not on my favorite person list.

I bet you vote him in again but you do not deserve him. When the going gets tough the whiners always come out. I think Mr. President will be remembered after he is gone for the Great President he has always been. Nice to know a country stands by their Commander In Chief,a human being who has this thankless poorly paying job. God Bless America's President! Shame on you

Supposedly Jimmy Carter had the utmost I.Q. of any president we ever had and perchance he did yet what did that get us? i imagine he changed into likely awesome as a member of Zumwalt's artwork force yet because the commander in chief he couldn't were a lot worse. organic brains isn't what makes a frontrunner. He changed into too speedy to resign himself to the subjects he changed into confronted with and honestly no concept to u.s.. yet yet again period with him and the Russians may have gained the chilly conflict. i'm not asserting I trust all Bush has executed yet a minimum of you may say he has the braveness of his convictions and he isn't any quitter. he's made his blunders and he has his weaknesses yet i am going to take him over the "smartest president we've ever had" and that i'd actual take him over "the neatest woman alive". She's merely smart adequate to teach us into the yank version of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic. in case you want to make certain a nasty monetary equipment attempt Carter's. Inflation changed into the worst it has ever been, you shouldn't purchase a job, and we had to post with "hearth chats" the position we were advised we may merely to boot get used to it. by using the time a variety of of the democrat applicants were given executed with us i imagine lets anticipate an same situation. EDIT: For some one which is meant to be so dumb, how is it Bush keeps getting over on those kinds of genius democrats? And to the fool that thinks we've been duped about Carter all i am going to assert is you shouldn't be previous adequate to were conscious in the course of his depressing reign.
