N. Korea has some missiles (that don't go too far), our American news sources are all fluttering around with worry. If Reagan's Star Wars satellites are still up there, who gives a sh#t if the missiles ever do fly? Aren't we protected by those overpriced satellites?

Reagan has been out of office for almost 20 years and yes, it was his administration that started the "Star Wars" missile shield program. What I remember from the late 80's is that their success rate wasn't even 50% (more like about 25-33%). I'm sure the technology has improved - but so have the missiles. I don't think that we can just back and not worry. These Star War weapons are now fitted onto a number of our naval ships - which makes the portable - but there is no 100% guarantee that we could stop anything and everything directed at us.

Hopefully, we'll build more as the Star Wars project was scuttled by people who act like you do. Overpriced? On the basis of what? That we haven't had to use them yet?
Would you like to wait until N. Korea hits us? Then you'd just blame the President for not doing it while undermining everything he does to try to protect us.

It is operational Baby! Folks like you tried to prevent it Let Ageis work first before we bring out the BIG GUNS I mean Lasers. You have no clue about whats available, I have a better one but even I don't know the full extent. I just know now you are indeed clueless. Sats have something to do with it but that is a sliver of the picture in the BIG PICTURE SHOW
