Actually Douglas Adams didn't write it...Terry Jones did.
It was supposed to be a companion novel to the game Starship Titantic.
It's ok, but not nearly as good as Douglas' writing.

If you've read his other books, you'll enjoy this one. It isn't as witty as the first ones but it continues the story.

yes I read it about 10 years ago when it first came out, was not real impressed with it

Everything else that he wrote was funny, I don't see why this should be any different.
