By LAW , you betcha!!! Company doctor DOES NOT have your best interest in mind...only the company's. Seek out a good orthopedic doctor immediately!!! You should be covered by workers' compensation or company insurance policy since it happened while at work.

You can ask, but that doesn't mean the company will pay for it.
If you're truly injured, file for short term disability, or workers compensation. If your company hassles you, hire a lawyer and sue the pants off them.

Also call OSHA (The Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and have them investigate for faulty equipment.

i believe you are always entitled to a second opinion, and i also am quite certain that insurance must pay for it....good luck....and darn those faulty welders to heck, to heck i say...there's no room for faulty welds on my planet!!!

You can always ask, but I think that you might have to pay for the second opinion. Do you have your own doctor?

Of course, and you can also ask to be refered for physical therapy. A physical therapist will do different muscle test to see whats happened.
