A court is the judicial arm of the government. Regardless of whether it is a municipal or city court, a state court, or a federal court, the court only functions with calm discussion. Yelling at a judge solves nothing, and interferes with the operation of the court.
If you yell at the judge, be prepared for a contempt citation. In most states, a judge has the power to punish "direct contempt" i.e. disorderly behaviour by ordering a fine or even ordering the offender taken into custody.
Indirect contempt is also punishable by a fine and/or jail, and is commonly seen when the court has ordered a person to do (or not to do) a certain thing, and they fail or refuse to do so. (example: when the transit workers went on strike in New York)
My advice for you is to NOT yell at the judge. He/she is only trying to do their job, the best they can. If you have a problem with the judge, contact your state bar association and ask for a form to fill out a complaint.

Anyone that thinks yelling gets their point across better than speaking rationally is a fool. They need to get an education and some self-control to develop their maturity.
Court cases are not competitions like sporting events. The halls of justice are where societies differences are settled and brought back into balance as best as possible.
My advice is to grow up, get real, and be honest. Accept your responsibilities for how you handle yourself and the situations you make for yourself. Stop putting the blame on others for how you feel. Only you have the power to control your emotions and your life's situation, so deal with it. Not doing so is giving away your power resulting in being held in contempt. Get it?

Usually a person's conduct is called into play and the judge can find them in contempt. If the person is disruptive or becomes a threat to others, that is grounds for contempt. Failure to be in court on time can be a reason. In some cases, a reporter's refusal to identify a source of their information can lead to contempt charges.

You do not use profanity in a courtroom. You definitely do not yell at a judge. You do not use sarcasm in a court of law. You do not use unruly behavior in a court. Also lawyers are held in contempt of court when they get way out of line.

stop yelling because you will get kicked out of the court and if you do it enough you could lose a case just for being a dumbass. the judge has the final say remember.

well, because there are no laws governing what is considered contempt of court, it's the judges discretion... some are more lenient then others, and if the judge doesn't like you you better keep your mouth shut and spit out that gum!
