The Exclusion of Ganguly in ODI is beyond cricketing reason. So, its very difficult to answer for any cricket lover, it solely depends on some idiots/selectors and BCCI. As still the cricket is ruled by so called experience old guys(just one can take note how jaysurya played recent series against England), Sourav deserved in the team as any point of time. He is playing twenty cup and performing fairly well with bat and ball. If you feel a batsman with 22 ODI century, 10000 runs is not fit into the scheme of Mr.More and Chappel, then God save India in world cup!!!

I fear Sourav Ganguly will make a comeback whatever his present performance is. He is now active in cricket politics. He may go at any length to get a berth in the team, such as going against his mentor Mr Dalmia. Moreover, the WB CM is his main backer.

I think its as dull as the way you have spelled his name. Its "Sourav Ganguly", not Sourav Gangualy...!!
Having said that, I am sure that he can give some more sleepless nights to Indian selectors, specially Kiran More if he makes 3 centuries in a row. Or may be 4... but anything less than that will keep him only in England County team... not Indian team.

i think that BCCI will select saurav for 2007 cricket world cup . and my best wishes is with him becoz he is a good player .

Yes i think, he will return
the reasons are:
1 he has proved himself and he is experienced and i think Indian side needs experience .
2 sehwag and kaif have got so many chances so if ganguly get a chance he can return into form
3 ganguly is the finest captain of India and he should not be thrown out like it
4 if ganguly is playing well 90% Chance India will win the match
5 ganguly is one of the best left hinders and i think India needs him

I dont want to talk any more abt his abilities...
but the humiliaton he faced... I think he should play the WC 2007 on high notes and than say bye to cricket...
he is great, and I think he is so unfortunate...
