People generally treat a person a certain way based on intelligence and maturity rather than age. Some people assume level of intelligence based appearance and a certain expectation they have based one the appearance of an individual. They can be so wrong, particularly when judging a person raised in another culture. It's best not to judge a person based on an assumption which may turn out to be incorrect.
