In these days in times i do not understand how anyone has 7 children but i am sure u love them with all your heart. If u want to get child support for your kids then go do that. I am not sure what u should do because u are an educated woman and working and doing the best u can! Good luck to you. Some of the churches in your area do help people that need food so try them and that would help .

What you have to start with is elliminating all unnecessary costs - eating out, frivilous purchases, etc. You should try to have your kids in extra curicular activities that are free (boys and girls club, maybe?). You could also set limits on thermostat settings and shower times.

Also, instead of daycare, you could have a nanny come to your house and watch your children (if they are not old enough to be alone) - you can generally pay them around $12 or so an hour - a lot better than expensive daycare.

My husband and I were getting in way over our heads with purchases and controllable spending - we sit down every month and make a budget plan. You could even sit with a financial planner or advisor. I would scrutinize my finances if I were you and elimintate anything you can!! :)

Family is also a great place to ask for help - not necessarily monetary, but general assistance. I hope this helps - good luck!

I apologize, but I must be true to myself and render a judgement...You shouldn't have had 7 children! There, now having gotten that off my chest let me offer some ideas that may/might be helpful. Do you have any family you can hit up? Do you have a husband that works and contributes? Multiple fathers--Where's the child support? How old is the oldest kid--Can he/she get a job and help out with the finances even if P/T? Is it really necessary for you to keep all 7 together...perhaps you could put a couple of them into foster care...notice I didn't say adopt them out...I said foster care. You can take them back when you're better able to care for them. Contact your local social services agencies and see if they can offer you any help though I doubt they will cause you've got a good job...but try anyway with that many kids they may be able to offer something.

Try to see if you qualify for HUD or some type of rental assistance program. Go to your local Dept. of Human Services and fill out for everything. You might qualify for something that could help but you won't know unless you try. If you're not getting any child support they can give you info on that to. If you qualify for anything they will most likely automatically go after Dad for support. Hang in there!!! I'll be praying for you.

You may be able to qualify for section "8" rental assistance. Talk to memebers of your church and a real estate agent too! There is probably grants and alot of help available for you! Congradulations on seven children, what a blessing. Do not worry, there is help out there!

Maybe you should go and apply for rental assistance if it is available in your area. Having 7 children, you should qualify.

Yeah!...go Citizen EX...tell her not to accept any responsibility for the fact that she has 7 kids that she can't afford to support, but rather see what kind of support society can provide for her...way to go!!!

7 children?? Maybe you should have found another hobby?

I hate to sound cold, but why did you have so many kids if you can't support them?

Have you considered adoption? I'm sure that you love them, but you need to do what's best for them.....
